To better assist teachers in educating their classes about the local fur trade history, the Northwest Fur Trade Historians offer these question and answer documents, that can be downloaded before field trips to Spokane House.
The documents are intended for both teachers and students to use as a study guide. During school field trips to Spokane House, students typically walk between several stations at the historic site, where history interpreters talk to them about various aspects of the fur trade time period.
These question and answer documents are divided up into sections that ask a few questions about each station that the students visit. Students can be given copies of the questions to write their answers at each subject station presentation. Teachers can then use the station answers as a follow-up classroom activity.
